Welcome to Beechcrest Farm!
Beechcrest Farm is an 185-acre, gorgeous sustainable farm-to-table family-owned farm located 7 miles west of Chapel Hill off Highway 54. We are a short 20-30 minute drive from most places in the Research Triangle Park (RTP) area of central North Carolina, and 15 minutes from Chapel Hill, Hillsborough, Pittsboro, and Mebane.
When Armin and Amanda Lieth acquired the land in the mid-1990s there were just three acres of pasture on the property. Over the last 15 years, they have carefully created more than 40 acres of additional species-rich pasture at Beechcrest Farm. The mile-long driveway is named Blissenbach, a nod to the family’s German land of the same name, and the house, barns, well houses and all outbuildings have been built in the German ‘fachwerke’ style. The farm includes two barns (both constructed out of timber from the farm), a riding arena, trails and over 50 acres of pasture where cattle, horses, and Certified AWA pigs are sustainably managed in rotation.
